Job summary

VMC Soft Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fircosoft developer to design, configure, and maintain AML and sanctions-screening applications.

You will install and configure Fircosoft components, tune alerts, and integrate with Oracle, MS SQL, IBM MQ, and Kafka to support real-time and batch screening. The role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience and strong Java/Java EE, SQL, and Unix/Linux scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Fircosoft-based AML/sanctions screening roles.
• Experience with Firco Continuity and Firco Trust is preferred.
• Proficient in configuring filters, profiles, rule sets, and workflows for real-time and batch screening.
• Strong SQL and Unix/Linux scripting skills.

Role Descriptions:

Fircosoft developer designs, configures, and maintains compliance and sanctions-screening applications - such as Firco Continuity and Firco Trust to help financial institutions meet anti-money laundering (AML) and regulatory standards

Configuration: Install and set up Fircosoft filtering software, profiles, rule sets, and workflows for real-time and batch transaction screening (SWIFT, Wire, ACH).

Alert Tuning and Optimization: Analyze screening results, reduce false positives, and adjust matching rules to improve operational efficiency and screening accuracy.

Data Integration: Connect Fircosoft platforms with enterprise databases (Oracle, MS SQL) and messaging systems (IBM MQ, Kafka) to manage customer and transaction data feeds.

Database and Script Development: Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and Unix/Linux shell scripts to support automation and backend stability.

System Implementation and Configuration: Install and set up Fircosoft filtering software, profiles, rule sets, and workflows for real-time and batch transaction screening (SWIFT, Wire, ACH). [1, 2, 3]
