Responsibilities

• Work on various FIPS 140 validation projects
• Conduct security analysis, design product architecture, perform vulnerability and physical security testing
• System-level logical analysis, product evaluations against standards, cryptographic testing, source code review, and report writing
• Automate testing through scripting and develop applications for test cases

Qualifications

• Cryptographic Validation Program (CVP) Certification
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, PKI, and security protocols
• Experience with programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java)
• Understanding of security standards, network setup, and security protocols
• Experience in testing environments, troubleshooting, and technical reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python, debugging tools, entropy analysis, OpenSSL/OpenPGP, vulnerability testing
• Knowledge of security principles, certifications, Active Directory, Linux, and hardware tools
• Knowledge of X.509 certificates

Education & Experience

Typically a BS degree with 2-4 years relevant experience.
