Job summary

Financial Technology Partners seeks a Full-Time Strategic Insights Analyst to join our San Francisco office in July 2027. You will conduct due-diligence, build financial models, and produce market insights while interfacing with senior executives in the FinTech space.

You will develop technical and strategic skills in a fast-paced environment, engaging with leading founders, investors, and deal teams on high-profile transactions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Master students graduated by June 2027.
• Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred.
• Strong interest in financial analysis, research, and FinTech.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a drive for excellence.
• Team player, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial.
• Strong data management and research skills.
• Maturity and poise to work directly with C-Suite level professionals.
• High attention to detail.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization required. FT Partners will not sponsor applicants for work visas at application or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform due-diligence on high-growth FinTech opportunities, including financial, valuation, and market sizing analyses.
• Leverage market data to identify and publish insights on key FinTech trends.
• Develop financial modeling, data analytics, and business strategy; interface with CEOs, founders, and investors.
• Meet with FinTech founders, VCs, PE firms, and finance executives to understand strategy and capital needs.
• Publish high-quality reports and client-facing materials on market trends and activity.
• Assist senior bankers in developing business development strategies and engaging with CEO/CFO/Board contacts.
• Collaborate with deal teams to assess valuation, product differentiation, and investor rationales.
