Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect for Digital Native Business in Fintech to lead the technical strategy for high-growth customers. You will drive architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, and serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and directors.

You will influence product direction and orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver complex solutions, requiring 6+ years in relevant roles, strong Python/SQL, and cloud deployment

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent technical roles.
• Strong Python and SQL coding skills with live coding ability.
• Expertise in distributed data systems, pipelines, and lakehouse patterns.
• Proficient with the Databricks Platform and developing a specialization.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience deploying to public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP) including security/governance.
• Proven track record of platform adoption and growth within accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or quantitative field.
• Desirable: healthcare data standards or pharma/biotech experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to deployment.
