Job summary

Hive Financial Systems, a fintech based in Atlanta, seeks a Product & Program Management Intern to turn business needs into shippable products. You will work with product managers and program leads on our platform rebuild, connecting engineering, QA, compliance, operations, and leadership—owning real deliverables with mentorship during the summer.

You'll gain hands-on PM/Prog Mgmt experience on a platform used by consumers and internal teams, exposure to Agile/Kanban, roadmaps, OKRs, and flow

Qualifications

• Currently a student pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Industrial or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (rising Junior or Senior)
• Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to turn messy conversations into clear, organized documents
• Highly organized, with strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working with data in Excel or Google Sheets
• Genuine interest in technology and how software gets built; no coding experience required
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, Hex, and ChatGPT in coursework or projects, with the ability to verify outputs
• Strong problem‑solving skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities

• Help write product requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria that engineering and QA can build and test against
• Support product discovery by gathering input from customer service, operations, underwriting, and compliance teams, and mapping how borrowers and staff actually use our products
• Track work through our Kanban boards in Jira: keep tickets accurate, flag blocked work, and follow up on dependencies across teams
• Help coordinate releases and cross-team initiatives, including timelines, status updates, and risk and issue logs
• Analyze product and operational data to inform priorities and measure whether shipped work is having the intended impact
• Prepare clear, concise updates and presentations for team leads and leadership
• Use AI tools responsibly to research, draft, and analyze, and verify what they produce
• Document processes, decisions, and lessons learned so the team can build on them
