BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Licensing Attorney with 2-6 years of licensing experience to join our fintech and financial advisory practice in Washington, DC. You will support a high-volume nationwide licensing practice, focusing on state and federally regulated financial services entities.

The role involves handling multistate licensing reviews, drafting filings, advising on compliance obligations, and contributing to regulatory, corporate, and transactional work.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and State Bar membership.
• 2-6 years of legal experience in licensing matters.
• Familiarity with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS).
• Experience reviewing and analyzing state statutes and regulations.
• Knowledge of federal consumer finance laws.
• Strong communication and interactive skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all stages of the licensing life cycle.
• Conduct comprehensive multistate legal reviews.
• Draft and compile state filings for license applications.
• Advise on compliance obligations for regulated entities.
