Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join their Fintech and Financial Advisory practice in Washington, DC. The position requires 2-4 years of experience in legal matters involving payments and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include legal research, regulatory risk analysis, and document management. Candidates must possess a Juris Doctorate degree and be a member of the State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research on payments and consumer financial services regulatory matters.
• Analyze and communicate regulatory risk with clients and senior attorneys.
• Conduct licensing reviews, including multi-state legal surveys.
• Participate in licensing applications and maintenance.
• Engage in supervisory matters, including information collection.
• Participate in enforcement matters, including information collection.
• Conduct and manage document review and production.
• Prepare legal memoranda, correspondence, and reports.
• Assist with preparation for government meetings.
• Write, edit, and review reports and communications.

Skills

Regulatory, licensing, and/or enforcement experience

Payments and/or general consumer financial services experience

Education

Juris Doctorate degree

Membership to the State Bar of the desired office
