Job summary

FT Partners in San Francisco seeks an Investment Banking Associate to originate and execute live transactions, lead financial modeling, valuation and due diligence, and coordinate client presentations.

You will work with senior bankers, mentor Analysts, and help identify sponsorship and investment opportunities across fintech deals, gaining exposure to top strategics and private equity. Hybrid, three days in office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time investment banking experience in M&A sell-side advisory.
• FINRA Series 63 and 79 registration.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong relationship management and presentation abilities.
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills.
• U.S. work authorization; FT Partners does not sponsor work visas.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute live transactions with senior bankers.
• Build financial models and perform company valuations.
• Conduct industry and strategic analysis, due diligence, and prepare client materials.
• Mentor and supervise Analysts; support recruitment and training.
• Identify sponsors, buyers, and investors for deals.
