Job summary

Lazard, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain production-grade full‑stack applications across investments and distribution.

You will develop backend services and APIs in Python and build frontend components for internal users. The role requires 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience, a BS/BA in CS or related fields, and experience deploying to Azure in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• Production-grade full-stack experience with Python and front-end frameworks.
• Experience building APIs and SQL databases.
• Experience deploying to Azure in regulated financial services.
• Demonstrated success delivering AI solutions with measurable business impact.
• Hands-on ML algorithms and productionizing AI models.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade full-stack applications.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build front-end components for internal business users.
• Deploy and operate applications in Azure cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, data specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
