Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst within Apex Tax & Cost Basis to analyze data processes, solve complex problems, document procedures, ensure data quality, and contribute to workflow automation. You will play a key role in improving efficiency and delivering data-driven insights.

You will work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions, evaluate data flows, and implement measures that support business decisions and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented problem solver.
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of the financial services industry, particularly cost basis and tax reporting.
• Experience with APIs and Claude AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced SQL and Claude AI skills to support the Tax & Cost Basis Operation teams.
• Evaluate data flows to identify areas for improvement and assist in the development and implementation of solutions.
• Ensure that solutions align with business needs and requirements.
• Analyze data trends and prepare reports with actionable recommendations for management.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting to measure performance and support business decisions.
• Conduct software and data quality testing, ensuring end-to-end processes achieve the desired outcomes.
• Update and implement written procedures for operational tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, and Development) to address data-related needs.
• Contribute to the development of automated workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual interventions.
