Job summary

FinOps Weekly in Arlington, TX seeks an IT Financial Management Analyst (Federal Financial) to lead lifecycle financial visibility across the CIOO IT portfolio. You will manage budgets, actuals, and forecasts at project, program, and portfolio levels, and produce variance analyses and accrual tracking.

Collaborating with the Division of Finance and stakeholders, you’ll support annual budget submissions, spend plans, and funding estimates, and use ServiceNow Financial Management to standardize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, information systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of IT financial management experience in a federal or regulated environment.
• Experience producing budget, actual, and forecast reporting.
• Experience with variance analysis, cost-driver analysis, and accrual tracking.
• Experience coordinating with finance stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Power BI and Excel for dashboards and reporting.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with ServiceNow Financial Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain standardized financial reporting across CIOO IT portfolio.
• Provide lifecycle cost visibility for IT investments.
• Track variances, cost drivers, and accruals through the budget lifecycle.
• Build dashboards comparing budgets, actuals, and forecasts.
• Support planning for investment candidates with a business-impact scoring model.
• Coordinate budget submissions, spend plans, and funding estimates with DOF.
• Leverage ServiceNow Financial Management to standardize reporting.
• Contribute financial inputs to Monthly Status Reports and audit-ready docs.
