Job summary

Wise Equation Solutions Inc. is seeking a hands-on cost governance expert to drive real-time financial accountability across a multi-cloud estate (AWS & Azure). You will own tagging programs, cost showback models, and partner with DevOps to curb waste and optimize spend.

The role requires rapid response during cost spikes, strong tooling expertise with Apptio and CloudAbility, and the ability to speak cloud with engineers for actionable cost control.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Apptio and CloudAbility for cost governance.
• Expert-level tagging design and enforcement for complex cost allocation.
• Deep technical understanding of AWS and Azure architectures to engage engineers and DevOps teams.
• RSA/response-oriented operations mindset with ability to investigate and remediate cost anomalies quickly.

This is a hands-on, live operational role requiring real-time agility and deep technical acumen to drive financial accountability across a multi-cloud estate (primarily AWS & Azure).

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

• Tooling Mastery (Non-Negotiable): Deep, hands-on experience with both Apptio and CloudAbility.
• Tagging Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of designing and enforcing strict cloud resource tagging strategies for complex cost allocation.
• True Technical Chops: Technical depth in AWS/Azure architectures to speak the same language as engineers and intelligently challenge DevOps teams on resource waste.
• High-Responsiveness Operations Focus: Highly accessible during core M-F business hours with the urgency to rapidly investigate and remediate cost anomalies the moment they occur.
