Job summary

With 8+ years in software, infrastructure, or platform engineering, you will bring skills in Python, Go, or Java and familiarity with Spark, Kubernetes, or distributed systems, plus hands-on telemetry and observability experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, or platform engineering with a focus on performance, scalability, or cost optimization.
• Deep understanding of cloud/on-prem cost models and FinOps concepts.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java and experience with large data systems such as Spark or distributed infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with observability and telemetry platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and metrics pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the foundational FinOps architecture for a large-scale Data Platform to enable cost visibility, efficiency, and accountability across thousands of workloads.
• Build cost attribution, chargeback, or FinOps automation systems at scale.
• Model resource usage and design allocation frameworks to enforce efficiency policies.
