Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Technician I to perform hands-on finishing tasks that ensure machined parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.

You will use hand tools to deburr and edge parts, wash and air-dry them, and record production data in the ERP system as part of a team-driven manufacturing process.

This role features a Monday–Friday day shift, pay of $19.81 per hour, and benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in manufacturing or production is preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems and recording production data is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs and break edges on machined parts using hand tools.
• Wash parts with mild detergents, rinse, and air-dry.
• Perform butt welding of blow-molded bottles when in the bottle area.
• Place finished parts in designated containers for shipment or QA.
• Accurately record completed work and maintain documentation in ERP.
• Read and follow job travelers and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support KAITEKI value-aligned continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
