Job summary

LeClaire Manufacturing in Bettendorf, IA is hiring a Permanent Mold Finishing Tech on 1st and 2nd shifts. No experience required; we train you to work with grinders, band saws, and finishing processes to prepare aluminum castings.

You’ll learn our parts, quality standards, and the casting process, with a clear path to Operator roles as you grow. The team is bilingual; English on the floor is not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read English for production data entry and follow quality displays.
• Punctual attendance and reliable on-time arrival.
• Willingness to follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Basic computer skills for simple data entry; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Use grinders and band saws to remove extra metal and smooth rough edges from newly cast aluminum parts.
• Inspect parts against the quality display and identify parts to scrap.
• Clean, count, and move finished parts to the next step in production.
• Lift, carry and manipulate aluminum castings.
• Enter production information into the computer system.
• Join a short daily department meeting and help find better ways to work.
