LeClaire Manufacturing in Bettendorf, IA is hiring a Permanent Mold Finishing Tech. You’ll start as Finishing Tech with on‑the‑job training, learning our casting processes and quality standards, with potential to advance to a Permanent Mold Operator as you grow.

No experience required; the role is hands‑on in a hot foundry environment. The company emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a bilingual workplace, with competitive starting pay and a clear path to higher pay as you move up.

Qualifications

• Ability to read English well enough to enter production data and follow our quality display (spoken English fluency is not required; Spanish is spoken on the floor)
• Reliable attendance and on‑time arrival
• Willingness to follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times
• Basic computer skills for simple data entry (we’ll show you our system)
• Good close vision for inspecting parts
• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Use grinders and band saws to remove extra metal and smooth rough edges from newly cast aluminum parts
• Inspect parts against our quality display and spot castings that need to be scrapped
• Clean, count, and move finished parts to the next step in production
• Lift, carry and manipulate aluminum castings
• Enter production information into our computer system
• Join a short daily department meeting and help find better ways to work
