Job summary

Greatjob is seeking a Shift Supervisor (Finishing Tech Lead) to lead a technical service team at customer sites in Spartanburg, SC. You will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and train customers on equipment and processes within finishing, paint systems, HVAC, filtration, and indoor air quality.

The role requires leadership of a technical team, availability on weekends/holidays, and strong hands-on mechanical and electrical skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in a technical team.
7+ years of experience in skilled trades or related field.
5+ years of experience in a focused application or product line.
3+ years in finishing, general industry environments, paint, HVAC, filtration or related areas.

Responsibilities

Serve as industry expert in a focused application or product line.
Troubleshoot, repair and service customer equipment; diagnose problems.
Perform product training for customers as part of a preventative maintenance program.
Provide advanced training on equipment for other technicians.
Lead field service, training customers on preventative maintenance and service of industrial automation equipment.
Oversee finishing, paint and HVAC maintenance, filtration and indoor air quality tasks.
Document work performed and enter in computer systems.
Maintain relationships with key vendor contacts for service and repair.
