Location: Houston
The Finishing Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the finishing department within a cabinetry manufacturing operation. This role ensures the consistent execution of high‑quality finishing processes, manages daily workflow, mentors team members, and drives operational efficiency. The Finishing Superintendent plays a key role in meeting production goals, implementing process improvements, and maintaining alignment with quality standards and customer expectations.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in finishing or production supervision/management within a cabinetry or woodworking manufacturing environment.
Strong technical knowledge of finishing processes, including:
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced production environment.
Data-driven approach with experience using KPIs to assess and improve departmental performance.
Strong problem‑solving skills with demonstrated success in root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
Working knowledge of ERP systems and production management software is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
