Job summary

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with wood finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending and lifting throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix and apply wood finishes (stains, varnishes, lacquers) according to specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to sand, buff and polish finished products.
• Inspect finished products for quality and perform touch-ups or repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors about finishing processes.

The Finishing Specialist will be responsible for applying final finishes to wooden products in our woodworking workshop located in Washington This position is suitable for men who have experience and passion for woodworking and are looking to further develop their skills in a professional setting

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare mix and apply wood finishes stains varnishes lacquers to wooden products according to specifications
• Use hand and power tools to sand buff and polish finished products
• Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Communicate with team members and supervisors about any issues or concerns regarding finishing processes

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with wood finishing techniques
• Knowledge of different wood types and how they react to different finishes
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in finishing processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Physical stamina for standing bending and lifting throughout the day

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this full-time position

In addition accommodation will be provided for the selected candidate
