Job summary

MCC in the United States is seeking an entry-level Packer to inspect, band, and shrink-wrap finished labels, and to assemble and pack boxes for shipment. You will interact with multiple departments to support quality, safety, and sustainability goals while growing within the company.

Responsibilities include quality checks, packaging tasks, documentation, and pallet handling. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the opportunity to advance into other positions within MCC.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for a full shift.
• Lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent walking and standing required; ability to climb/balance as needed.
• Good vision including color, distance, depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Inspects finished labels to ensure quality.
• Bans and shrink wraps stacks of finished labels.
• Assembles corrugated boxes or trays.
• Packs finished labels in boxes for shipment.
• Stacks boxes on a pallet for shipment.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Operates a pallet jack.
• Follows safety policies (ISO, GMA SAFE, HACCP).
• Interacts professionally with associates; adheres to code of ethics.
• Maintains daily housekeeping including painting/cleaning.
• Travels as necessary; performs other duties as assigned.

The Packer is tasked with inspecting, banding, and shrink-wrapping stacks of finished labels, as well as assembling and packing boxes of finished labels. Meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards. Interacts with other departments to achieve the company’s core strategies. This is an entry-level role that we intend to grow into different positions within the company.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Able to spend a full shift standing up.
• Positive attitude.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch, reaching with arms and hands, and talking and hearing.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally, an employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
