Job description

Accord Carton is seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Operator to join our technical manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating finishing equipment to produce high-quality, finished products during our third shift (9pm - 5am).

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate machines that fold, glue, and add windows to packaging.
  2. Set up and adjust machines to maintain smooth operation.
  3. Monitor machinery to ensure proper functioning and quality standards.
  4. Inspect finished products for quality compliance.
  5. Perform minor repairs on machinery as needed.
  6. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  7. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with packaging, folding, or gluing machinery in a manufacturing setting.
  • Good manual dexterity and basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift items as required.
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts (third shift).
