Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Finishing Operator in Waite Park, MN. The role offers a schedule from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.

You’ll work to manufacture quality components, inspect finished products, and support continuous improvement within a safety-focused environment. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, basic math skills, and the ability to read blueprints and work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
• Basic math skills, including arithmetic, geometry, and measurements.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with precision measurements, assembly, machining, finishing, or inspection is preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and assemble precision components according to specifications.
• Finish workpieces using manual lapping plates and automated finishing equipment.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and instructions to determine product requirements.
• Inspect and measure finished components using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Move and position materials using cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
