MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all the duties listed below;

  • Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and are counted correctly.
  • Pull shots for quality checks following machine re-starts or as needed.
  • Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA.
  • Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
  • Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
  • Evaluate and document machine performance.
  • Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers. Un-jam assemblers as needed.
  • Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
  • Prepare paperwork at the end of the shift for the following shift, noting any problems or exceptions that occurred. Maintain a clean and safe working area.
  • Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures
