Job summary

Johns Manville in Milan, Ohio, is seeking a Finishing Operator for afternoon/night shifts. You will support JM values and contribute to the customer experience in a manufacturing environment. The role requires reading tape measures, basic math, and solid communication.

You will relieve other operators, maintain safety, and help ensure quality products while adhering to PPE and SOPs. We offer a base hourly rate of 25.00, with Pay for Skills progression as you advance through Operator levels, and

Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $25.00.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience. This Operator position is part of the Pay for Skills program and is part of skills progression. The employee must complete the requirements for Operator 1.

Your Day to Day

Physical Requirements

• The ability to stand for extended periods
• The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
• Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling)
• The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment
• The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
