The Finishing Operator reports to the Finishing Lead. This role involves final manufacturing stages for stickers and labels on a roll before packaging and shipping. You may operate other machinery such as shrink wrap machines and support the team with various manufacturing tasks. Speed, accuracy, and quality are essential, along with supporting team members and adapting to changing order volumes. Being a team player and committed to excellence are key traits.

Finishing Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate label rewind and slitting machines, including calibration, setup, and cleaning.
• Rewind or slit daily printed rolls for sticker and label products, and count as needed.
• Assemble, finish, and process print rolls, sheets, and final products.
• Support shipping by assembling packets and assisting the shipping team.
• Interpret job orders to set up machines according to specifications.
• Perform quality control inspections and remove defective items.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Cross-train on other machinery to support team versatility.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of machine operation experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Adherence to health and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and product quality.
• Aptitude for mechanical operations and manufacturing processes.
• Basic math skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for 8-12 hours during shifts.
• Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.
• Occasional climbing, bending, and reaching.
• Frequent walking, grasping, and gripping.

Position Schedule Details

• Pay Range: $18.00 - $18.50/hour.
• Second Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM.
• Overtime may be required or voluntary.
• On-site only, no hybrid work.
