Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a production operations team member for hand bundling, stitching, boxing, and banding duties at our on-site facility in Wisconsin.

The role requires reading a tape measure, basic math, and ability to read schedules, with independent and team-based work across different items in the department. Responsibilities include setup, glue application, label equipment operation, material checks, quality control, and data entry on MacOps/QCS.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet job requirements with or without accommodation.
• Accurately read a measuring tape and ruler.
• Use basic shop math and measurements.
• Learn and follow instructions.
• Work effectively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Teamwork effort to meet production goals.
• Pump glue in the machine and adjust the roller for proper coverage.
• Fluff labels and set label equipment; load labels onto the machine.
• Review stock and raw materials and check MacOps KIWI screens.
• Check raw materials per job instructions and notify if out of spec.
• Verify die cuts/print plates before and after running.
• Set up equipment and run tests to meet specs and foldability.
• Run orders and ensure quality of units and stacking.
• Quality check glue adhesion and other customer checks.
• Enter data on MacOps and QCS; notify if first run occurs.
• Apply WIP/load tags, remove scrap, and send to bander.
• Ensure line clearance before next order startup.
• Maintain clean and safe workspace; clean-as-you-go attitude.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
