The Finishing Operator reports to the Finishing Lead. The role involves serving as the final stage of manufacturing for stickers and labels on a roll before packaging and shipping. You may operate other machinery such as shrink wrap and packaging/shipping stations. Speed, accuracy, and quality are your passions, along with supporting the team and adapting to changes in order volume. Being a supportive team member and “All In” comes naturally to you.

Finishing Duties & Responsibilities

1. Operate tabletop label rewind and slitting machines, including calibration, setup, and cleaning.
2. Rewind or slit daily volumes of printed rolls, counting as needed.
3. Assemble, finish, and process print rolls, sheets, and final products.
4. Support shipping by assembling packets and supporting the workflow.
5. Interpret job orders to set machines according to customer specifications.
6. Perform quality control inspections and remove defective items.
7. Contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
8. Cross-train on other machinery and support team members.
9. Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
10. Collaborate with other teams and departments.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. 1 year of machine operation experience in manufacturing preferred.
3. Ability to maintain health and safety standards.
4. Attention to detail and product quality.
5. Aptitude for mechanical operation and manufacturing processes.
6. Basic math skills and excellent attention to detail.
7. Good attendance and punctuality; accurate record-keeping.
8. Interest in professional growth.

Physical Requirements

1. Standing for 8-12 hours.
2. Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.
3. Occasional climbing, bending, and reaching.
4. Frequent walking, grasping, and gripping.

Position Schedule Details

1. Pay: $18.00 - $18.50/hour.
2. First shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
3. Overtime available.
4. 100% on-site position.
