Job summary

The position offers First, Second, or Third shift (6:30 AM–2:30 PM; 2:30 PM–10:30 PM; 10:30 PM–6:30 AM, Thurs-Sun) with duties including washing, processing purcoat/parylene, autoclave and bake, quality checks, packing, and safe operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and work in a manufacturing setting.
  • Lean Sigma knowledge preferred.
  • Strong reliability and attention to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Wash items and cool on tilt table.
  • Process purcoat/parylene products.
  • Autoclave and bake; further cure rubber with heat/steam.
  • Ensure silicone-stoppers meet specs and inspect for defects.
  • Weigh, pack, and inspect quality rejects.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.

Job Summary

In this role, the job holder will be responsible for processing material in accordance with applicable work and manufacturing instructions and direction from the area manager of the respective Finishing department.

Shift

Applicants may be considered for either First, Second, or Third shift.

1st Shift: 6:30 AM—2:30 PM I Monday-Friday

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM—10:30 PM I Monday-Friday

3rd Shift: 10:30 PM—6:30 AM I Thursday-Sunday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Washer and tilt table – wash item and then cool on tilt table.
  • Processing purcoat/parylene product.
  • Autoclave and bake, further curing of rubber through heat and steam.
  • Silicone‑stoppers are silicone coated per customer specifications.
  • Pep II‑stoppers treated in chemical solution.
  • Metal Detection‑stoppers are scanned for metal particles.
  • Weigh up and packing.
  • Belt D-disk.
  • Reinspection of Quality Inspection rejects.
  • Use good housekeeping practices to maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety rules and safety procedures.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned based on business needs.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
  • Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Work Experience
  • No min required.

  • Computer skills.
  • Solid language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.

Physical Requirements

Medium‑Exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects.

Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to work in a fully continuous shift system.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, e.g., standing and sitting for long periods of time, lifting and carrying heavy loads of up to 20 kg, walking long distances, etc.
