Franklin Precision Castings is seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Operator to join our team. This role is critical to the final stages of our investment casting process, ensuring all products meet quality standards.

If you take pride in craftsmanship and have a sharp eye for detail, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will inspect finished castings, operate grinding equipment, drill press, water blast, and assist with pouring molten metal as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or finishing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished castings to ensure quality and specifications.
• Operate grinding equipment, including hand belt grinders.
• Perform drill press operations and cut-off saw tasks.
• Use water blasting equipment to remove ceramic material from castings.
• Assist with pouring molten metal as needed.
• Identify defects or non-conformances during inspections.
• Safely operate finishing tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Report quality or safety concerns to supervisors.
