Job summary

Armstrong World Industries in Millwood, WV, is seeking a Full-Time Finishing/Packaging Operator to maintain and operate the fiber line and packaging equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will perform startup/shutdown, load materials, complete QA reports, follow SOPs, and participate in continuous improvement and housekeeping, with overtime as needed. High school diploma and 2+ years industrial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial or warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior lean/process improvement experience preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and operate packaging equipment and line components for proper function and safety.
• Follow PPE guidelines and safety protocols; perform risk assessments.
• Operate forklifts, loaders, balers, and related equipment as required.
• Load finished product and pack according to SOPs; complete Quality Control documentation.
• Troubleshoot line issues and coordinate with supervision for corrective actions.
