Phoenix Color Job Title: Finishing Operator

Lakeside Job Title: Light Equipment Operator 2

Starting Pay: $18.50 - 19.50/hr (+$1.00/hr Night Shift Differential)

Pay Grade Range: $18.50 - 23.85/hr

Additional Incentives:

  • Up to $100 Safety Shoe Reimbursement after 60 days of employment.
  • Phoenix Color will provide all tools necessary.
  • Two T-Shirts provided.
  • 2 Weeks Vacation to start.

Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday and every other Thursday

Location: 18249 Phoenix Dr., Hagerstown, MD 21742

As our Light Equipment Operator 2, you will:

  • Responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of laminating machinery
  • Monitor production and adjust machine during production run as required
  • Regularly check for product quality and film temperature
  • Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shift and lift up to 75lbs
  • Ability to bend and reach for extended periods of time

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand written instructions and perform basic math
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team and provide direction
  • Mechanically inclined to fix minor machinery issues using hand tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Some mechanical ability required
