A growing manufacturing company seeking a Finishing Lead to oversee the finishing and machining of castings. The position involves hands-on responsibilities, operating CNC machines, and ensuring production targets are met. Ideal candidates will exhibit a positive attitude, attention to quality, and a willingness to learn.
Position: Finishing Lead
Pay: Based on experience, Starting at $25/hour plus $1/hour shift premium after probationary period.
Work Schedule: 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3pm-1:15am; plus overtime as scheduled.
Reports to: Director of Quality
As a Finishing Lead, you will be joining a dynamic team at a growing manufacturing company as one of the most critical production roles in the business. You will be responsible for the finishing and machining of castings. This is a hands-on, fast paced shop floor position that has a lot of variety day-to-day. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
A successful candidate should have some prior manufacturing experience in a factory environment. Die casting or foundry experience a plus but not required. You will be standing, lifting, and working in varying temperatures throughout the plant. Attention to quality and following work instructions is very important. The candidate must be willing to learn, follow the directions of a supervisor, and work cooperatively with other team members. A positive attitude and regular and punctual attendance is required. Safety is our #1 priority.
