Job summary

MCC is seeking a Finishing Jogger Operator to align printed material from the press room for cutting and ensure adherence to safety, production, sustainability and quality standards. You will interact with other departments to support MCC’s core strategies.

Responsibilities include jogging loads, inspecting products, operating pallet jack, calibrating equipment, and documenting processes while maintaining housekeeping and Lean/5S practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; write simple correspondence; present information one-on-one.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to follow detailed but straightforward written and oral instructions.
• Basic computer and business OS knowledge.
• Able to handle problems with a few variables.
• Must be certified Pallet Jack operator.
• Physical: standing, lifting up to 50 pounds; frequent walking; variety of motions.
• Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral.

Responsibilities

• Jogs loads according to customer specifications.
• Inspects printed product and notes defects.
• Operates a pallet jack.
• Calibrates scale on jogging equipment.
• Completes documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follows safety policies and procedures (GMP, BRC, HACCP).
• Maintains professionalism and team respect; upholds ethics.
• Maintains daily housekeeping.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing and 5S in production.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.
