Job summary

Diamond Packaging is seeking a Finishing Operator 2/Gluer Operator to join our Finishing Department in Rochester, NY. The role covers 2nd and 3rd shifts, operating multiple gluing and window machines according to specifications.

Requirements include 5+ years of finishing operator experience or equivalent, a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and ability to lift 40lbs, stand 8 hours, and work overtime when needed. Bobst equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 5 years experience as a Finishing Operator Trainee or comparable training.
• Must have high school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.
• Must have basic computer skills - computer inputs.
• Must be able to start/stop machine and clear/remove line jams and perform simple trouble shooting.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40lbs.
• Must be able to stand for a continuous 8 hour period.
• Frequent bending and stooping.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
• Must be able to successfully pass drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is to operate multiple gluing and window machines and related equipment based on equipment operating specifications. Experience on Bobst equipment is preferable, but not necessary.
