Job summary

Taylor Visual Impressions, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking an Equipment Operator (Finishing) to manage finishing equipment and Guillotine Cutters in a fast-paced print production environment.

You’ll lead complex finishing jobs, perform color calibrations, and ensure high-quality output throughout the production run. The position offers a 4x10 shift schedule (Mon–Thu, 2:30 PM–1:00 AM) with opportunities to improve workflow and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
• Solid understanding of production workflows and quality standards.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple jobs under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret job tickets to set up finishing and press equipment correctly.
• Operate a variety of equipment including folding, stitching, coiling, cutting, gluing, and digital presses.
• Conduct color calibration and maintain consistent color output on digital presses.
• Inspect work for quality assurance throughout the production process.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Track inventory, place finished goods in designated areas, and maintain accurate labels.
• Coordinate with production leads to meet job deadlines.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
