Job summary

PiovanGroup's Thermal Care in Niles, Illinois, is seeking a Finishing/Insulation worker to support the build of heat transfer products. This role reports to the production team leaders and operates in our assembly plant.

You will follow production notes, install doors, filters and panels, and insulate and label products per specifications. A safety-focused mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to interpret measuring equipment.
• Understand safety regulations and protocols.
• Experience with power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and efficiently in a production environment.
• Prepare chillers for shipping according to production notes.
• Install doors, filters and panels as specified.
• Inspect, insulate, and label products per work instructions.
• Assist in other areas as assigned.
• Report progress and issues to the team leader.
• Be a positive, collaborative team member.

Role

The Finishing/Insulation worker performs general shop duties to support the build of Heat Transfer Products. This position reports to the production team leaders and is located in our assembly plant in Niles, Illinois.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow Notes to Production to prepare chillers for shipping
• Install doors, filters and panels per specifications
• Clean, insulate, and label product per specifications and work instructions.
• Help in other areas as assigned
• Verbally report progress and problems to the team leader in a professional manner
• Be a positive team member with a good, honest work ethic

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Accurately interpret measuring equipment
• Understand safety regulations and protocols
• Experience with power tools preferred
• Must be legally able to work in the United States
• Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment
