Job description

Position Summary

To support manufacturing operations and produce quality products with efficiency and accuracy.

Duties

1. Perform operations to meet specified dimensions and tolerances based on manufacturing documents, including part prints, process routers, and SOPs.
2. Operate within plant safety rules and maintain good housekeeping practices.
3. Maintain quality and productivity levels during manufacturing.
4. Follow plant rules, policies, EH&S policies, and good documentation practices.
5. Ensure a clean work area and maintain general housekeeping in the plant.
6. Work effectively as part of a team.
7. Perform manufacturing operations of surgical instruments under supervision, following specific procedures to assemble components into finished goods.
8. Conduct polishing/grinding operations using stationary equipment, requiring leaning forward and extended arm positioning.
9. Work primarily seated with minimal standing, bending, or twisting.
10. Occasionally move products weighing up to 50 pounds between workstations.
11. Maintain visual accuracy to detect product non-conformities.

Additional Duties

1. Perform basic math calculations.
2. Read and interpret part prints, control sheets, and routers, following procedures to manufacture quality instruments.
3. Perform operations requiring fine motor skills and good eye-hand coordination.
4. Demonstrate consistent quality, productivity, and proficiency across instrument families.

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.
