Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking a Finisher Foreman to supervise concrete placement, finishing and curing on site. You will direct assigned personnel, decide delegation, and may drive Baker vehicles in compliance with company and DOT regulations.

As the lead trainer and motivator for the crew, you’ll contribute to a team that values grit, reliability, and steady opportunities for growth and advancement within a respected EOE employer.

Qualifications

• Proficient in concrete mix designs and effects of its usage.
• Strong knowledge of finishing and curing processes.
• Experience supervising crew and training personnel.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and executes concrete placement.
• Provides direction for crew and ensures safety on site.
• Ensures compliance with company and DOT regulations.
• Acts as lead trainer and motivator for the crew.

Summary

The Finisher Foreman is responsible for assigned facets of concrete placement, finishing and curing. Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel and determines when to delegate or actually perform the work. May be required to drive Baker vehicles and must comply with Company and DOT regulations. The Finisher Foreman is the lead trainer and motivator for his crew.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience and/or training.
• Proficient in concrete mix designs and effects of its usage.
• ACI Flatwork Finisher Certification.
