Job summary

Jacob Interior Trim is seeking finish carpenters to install millwork, windows, doors, baseboards, crown molding and mantels on residential production housing projects. You will bring your own hand tools and collaborate with a crew using company supplies, with physical duties including bending, kneeling, lifting and standing for long periods.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong carpentry skills and tool knowledge.
• Ability to work with foreman and crew on-site.
• Eye for fine detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, sketches or instructions.
• Work with wood, plastic, fiberglass or drywall materials.
• Use chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders.
• Join materials with nails, screws, staples or adhesives.
• Install cabinets, molding, doors and trim.
• Erect scaffolding and maintain a clean work area.
• Prepare structures for finish applications with planing and sanding.
