Job summary

Flexjet Interiors is seeking Finish Technicians to perform general mechanical work on aircraft cabinets and related systems. You will remove/install cabinets, modify, re-laminate, re-finish, veneer or fabricate new cabinets, and spray/polish coatings.

The role requires 3–5 years’ cabinetry experience in aviation, strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and knowledge of FAA guidelines. Prior Corridor software experience is a plus; strong customer focus expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience on aircraft cabinetry, including building, modification and finishing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude within Aviation with understanding of interiors and components.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience in Aviation Maintenance Software Programs; Corridor background preferred.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Must follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.
• Maintain customer-oriented work habits.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems, including removal and installation of cabinets and fabrication of new cabinets.

• Perform minor modifications and wood touch-up repairs.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tooling as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems. This shall include, but not be limited to, items such as removal and installation of cabinets, modification, re-laminating, re-finishing, veneering or fabrication of new cabinets.


• Ability to spray and polish gloss/satin coatings.


• Ability to perform minor modifications.


• Ability to perform wood touch up repairs.


• Maintenance and repair equipment and tooling when required.


• Cleanliness of shop and surroundings.


• Work independently when required.


• Any other job-related duties as assigned by Management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education High school diploma or equivalent.


• Experience 3-5 years’ experience on aircraft cabinetry to include building, modification, and finishing


• Strong mechanical aptitude within Aviation with an understanding of aircraft interiors and associated components, including repairs and fabrications.


• Computer Skills Basic Computer skills.
