Job summary

Flexjet Interiors in Cleveland, OH is hiring Finish Technicians to perform general mechanical work on aircraft cabinets and related systems. The role includes cabinet removal/installation, modification, re-laminating, re-finishing, veneering, and fabrication, plus the ability to spray and polish coatings and perform wood touch ups.

We seek 3–5 years of cabinetry experience in aviation, strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with aviation software (Corridor preferred), and solid written/verbal

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience on aircraft cabinetry, including building, modification and finishing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude within Aviation with understanding of aircraft interiors and components.
• Experience in Aviation Maintenance Software Programs; Corridor background preferred.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in accordance with FAA guidelines and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems (removal/installation of cabinets, modification, re-laminating, re-finishing, veneering or fabrication).
• Ability to spray and polish gloss/satin coatings.
• Perform minor modifications.
• Wood touch up repairs.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tooling.
• Keep shop clean and organized.
• Work independently when required.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems. This shall include, but not be limited to, items such as removal and installation of cabinets, modification, re-laminating, re-finishing, veneering or fabrication of new cabinets.


• Ability to spray and polish gloss/satin coatings.


• Ability to perform minor modifications.


• Ability to perform wood touch up repairs.


• Maintenance and repair equipment and tooling when required.


• Cleanliness of shop and surroundings.


• Work independently when required.


• Any other job-related duties as assigned by Management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education High school diploma or equivalent.


• Experience 3-5 years' experience on aircraft cabinetry to include building, modification, and finishing


• Strong mechanical aptitude within Aviation with an understanding of aircraft interiors and associated components, including repairs and fabrications.


• Experience in Aviation Maintenance Software Programs, Corridor background preferred.


• Written and verbal communication skills.


• Responsibility Able to perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.


• Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
