Finish Painter - 1st Shift - 7 am to 3:30 pm - Mon. - Fri., Starting Hourly Wage $21.34, Painter Differential of additional $2.00 per hour after meeting CBA requirements.

Job Description
  • Req#: R0008202
  • Follows manufacturers instructions to mix paint materials to proper color and consistency.
  • Prepares surfaces and properly applies paint and other finishes to surfaces of manufactured products using brush or power equipment.
  • Properly labels and stores paint and chemicals.
  • Maintains and stores applicators, supplies, and materials.
  • Inspects finished surfaces for proper appearance and determines paint build thickness.
  • Performs daily/weekly TPM tasks with accuracy and consistency under minimum supervision.
  • Requires 6,000 hours of experience to perform work and attain necessary skills.
  • Performs other duties as designated by supervisor in the same salary grade or below.
Education and Experience Requirements

A vocational or high school education or equivalent is required plus on-the-job training to learn trade techniques and procedures.
