Job summary

The Kearney Companies in Riverview, FL is seeking an experienced Dozer Operator (Finish Grade) to support site development and civil construction projects. You will push, rough grade, and finish grade earthwork while maintaining safety and productivity metrics.

Candidates should have a driver’s license and be willing to work a Monday–Saturday schedule across Hillsborough, Hernando, Polk, Pasco, and Manatee counties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dozer operating experience on site development or heavy civil projects.
• Experience performing push work, rough grading, and finish grading.
• Valid Driver's License is preferred.
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday.
• Knowledge of earthwork, site development, roadway construction, and utilities is preferred.
• Experience with GPS machine control systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret grading stakes, elevations, and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dozer to perform push work, rough grading and finish grading on site development and civil projects.
• Inspect daily equipment and maintain machines in safe condition.
• Follow project schedules and zoning requirements across Hillsborough and neighboring counties.
• Coordinate with crew members to ensure quality and safety.
