Job summary

Thuasne is seeking a Fine Sock Knitting Technician to support our knitting operations in Hamlett. The role focuses on maintaining machine performance, documenting issues, and collaborating with the Master Technician to ensure production quality.

The candidate will review LCD screens for production stops and participate in weekly maintenance, style changes, and repairs as needed. Ability to work various shifts and overtime is required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years minimum experience required in circular knitting environment.
• Knowledge of Circular Knitting Machines to include Lonati and Santoni.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with knitting personnel on machine performance issues.
• Documents issues on the white communication board.
• Reviews the machine LCD to evaluate production and stops.
• Performs weekly machine maintenance on assigned machines.
• Performs style and size changes within capabilities.
• Re-needle and sinker the knitting machines as needed.
• Keeps work areas clean.
