Job summary

PENN Entertainment's culinary team at Hollywood Casino is seeking an experienced line cook to ensure safe and efficient production across stations. You will handle quality control, par levels, and daily prep for diverse menu items.

The role requires 3+ years in casual dining, English proficiency, and the ability to lift heavy objects and work nights/weekends. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
College degree or Culinary Arts degree preferred.
At least 3 years of casual dining experience in a high-volume casual setting.

Responsibilities

Responsible for safe, efficient production of food items across stations, including quality/quantity control and proper storage.
Assist setup and operation of multiple stations; coach junior cooks for cross-training and mobility.
Prepare stocks, soups, and sauces for daily meal service.
Follow SOPs and production lists to meet par levels and specs.
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures.
Maintain communication with supervising chef; ensure equipment and area are clean and hazard-free.
Notify supervisor of unsafe kitchen equipment immediately.
Collaborate efficiently with co-workers in any kitchen.
Provide courteous service using Red Carpet Service with patrons and staff.
Perform duties safely and report potential hazards.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficiency and guest service.
