Job summary

The Cedars of Chapel Hill is seeking a Club House Wait Staff member to provide attentive food and beverage service to Members across casual, formal, bar, and private dining rooms.

You will portion and deliver meals, accommodate member preferences, enter orders, split checks, and help maintain clean, welcoming dining areas in a supportive senior living community.

This part-time role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and professional presentation in a compassionate care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides food and beverage items as required.
• Serves meals in the dining rooms in accordance with member preferences and orders; monitors reception of meals and offers substitutes if unsatisfactory.
• Stocks items in kitchen, dining rooms, wait stations, and break room as necessary.
• Demonstrates the skills and techniques of fine dining service.
• Runs food independently.
• Able to service a 3-4 table section independently with some assistance.
• Uses computer to enter orders, split checks, and charge members correctly.
