Job summary

The River Club of Jacksonville is seeking friendly, high-energy hospitality professionals to join our premier Northeast Florida dining team. As a server, you will deliver top‑quality service, know the menu and beverages, greet guests by name, and contribute to a memorable dining experience in an upscale private club.

One year of fine dining or private club server experience is required, along with POS familiarity and wine knowledge. Flexible scheduling including weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• One year of fine dining service or private club server experience.
• Must know the POS computer system.
• Must be able to read, write, speak English.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Greet members and guests immediately with a smile and guide them through the dining experience.
• Ring member checks accurately and on time; communicate with the Dining Room Captain or Manager about close times.
• Set up tables and stations; ensure glassware, silverware, and linens are spotless and properly arranged.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to learn daily specials and information; maintain professional demeanor at all times.
• Close and finalize checks at the end of the shift and assist with additional tasks as needed.
