Job summary

Lago Glenview is seeking a restaurant server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver food with a focus on excellent service. You will upsell, communicate with kitchen and bar staff, and handle payments while maintaining a clean, inviting dining area.

The role emphasizes teamwork, knowledge of menu pairings, and ability to stand for long periods. Base wage is $9.00/hour plus tips, with guaranteed earnings at least $15.00/hour where legally required.

Qualifications

• Previous server experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Take accurate orders and note special requests; input into POS.
• Deliver food and beverages timely and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Upsell and recommend items to enhance the dining experience.
• Maintain clean and welcoming dining spaces; collaborate with team.
• Process guest payments and provide receipts.
