Mayahuel in Houston is seeking an enthusiastic server to deliver a memorable dining experience in a high-energy, multi-concept hospitality group. You will educate guests on our offerings, suggest menu items, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality or casual dining.
• Able to multi-task.
• Stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs, and bend or climb in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on current menu choices and edits.
• Present menus, suggest dishes, assist in drink selection, inform guests about preparation details.
• Deliver items, fulfill customer needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, refill glasses.
• Open and pour wine tableside.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and hospitably.
• Understand and communicate all products and services available.
• Must have familiarity with basic food knowledge.
• Commit to high levels of customer service.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, ensure correct charges and change.
