Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen years old (at least 18 to serve alcohol).
• Previous server experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete restaurant's training course.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they are seated and ensure the table is clean and ready.
• Distribute menus and present the daily specials.
• Answer questions regarding the menu.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen.
• Deliver food and beverages to customers.
• Ensure orders are prepared correctly and to customers’ satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.
• Collect plates and clear the table as customers finish their meals.
• Prepare customers’ checks and collect payments.
• Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
